Spiritual Teachers
Reverend Jeri Hudson
Reverend Jeri found Religious Science in 1997 when she accepted an invitation to a Christmas Eve service. She is an army brat, a middle child, and a preacher’s kid (proof God has a sense of humor!) Although raised within a strict Baptist, Pentecostal, and Evangelical family, she had a spiritual awakening at the age of 11 that gave her an understanding that God is called by many names.
Forty years later, while listening to Daniel Nahmod’s song “One Power,” she understood that she had come home to herself and her God. Her heart broke open as she realized that much like the Jews of the Old Testament, she had spent her own 40 years wandering in the desert. Within a year she knew she was being called to ministry.
Her resistance to that call was met by God’s persistence and after finally giving in began a path that blesses her life. She is a Spiritual Sherpa, willing to carry the bags and point the way for other seekers on the path home. She delights in speaking, teaching, and leading a spiritual practice every day at 7AM.
Jeri is passionate about God, Religious Science, art, music, and family. She lives in Seattle with her 2 wives and and 3 cats. She is a member of CSL Seattle where she is the Minister to the Practitioners.
